One Day Kiln Formed Glass Workshop

One Day Kiln Formed Glass Workshops are suitable for beginners who have no experience or skill in glassmaking.

This beginner’s learning workshop is 6 hours (10am – 4pm) and includes lunch. The total cost is £120.

One day workshops are also offered for those who have had some experience and want to build on their existing learning. These workshops also provide the chance to experiment with new techniques.

Individual Workshops

There is also an option to book a one-on-one learning workshop that can be tailored to your specific requirements and will be costed separately.

More specialist learning workshops are 1-2 days. Length will depend on the bespoke techniques that are taught. Cost will be determined by the nature of the learning, materials, and specialist teaching. The price of the workshop includes the cost of sending you your finished piece(s).

Glass Making Experiences

A glass taster session will be a 1-2-hour session. This is a glass taster session and is the perfect opportunity to sample the art of kiln formed glass making.

Students can choose to make a very simple pendant, coaster, or small wall panel. After your experience session, the piece you have made will need to be fired. I will let you know when it is ready for collection.

Visit our studio and make your own glass panel with tuition and guidance from the team at Folksey Community Glass.

We can guide you through the process on a one-to-one basis (or as a couple or family).

Not only will you have a stunning and distinctive centrepiece for a room of your choosing, but every time you look at it, you’ll have the joy of knowing that you helped to design and make it!

Cost is quoted on an individual basis and will be determined by the size of the panel that you’d like, the materials and the design. You can bring or send in advance the colour and/or fabric samples from your room, to ensure the design incorporates these colours into your glass panel.

Gift vouchers can be used to contribute towards the cost of making your own kiln formed glass panel.

Visit our studio and design beautiful kiln-formed glass handles for your furniture, with expert tuition from the Folksey Community Glass team.

We’ll guide you step by step. You can choose the handle sizes you need, and we’ll help you match colour schemes by incorporating fabric or paint samples you bring along.

Not only will you have distinctive, handmade handles that transform your furniture, but also the satisfaction of knowing you designed and created them yourself.

Costs are tailored to the number, size, and style of handles you’d like. Gift vouchers are available.
