The perfect entryway into glassmaking. Start your journey here and experience the joy of crafting your first piece using stencils and powders.

Each participant will create a 16 x 16 cm piece, and/or pendant or coaster. After the session, we'll fire your piece (you don;t have to worry about this part) and then we'll let you know when it is ready for collection (usually a few days later, or we can ship it to you).

One day or half day

These workshops are suitable for beginners with no experience of glassmaking. You will learn how to design a small piece measuring 20 x 30 cm, select and cut glass, and assemble your creation, ready for firing and later taking home with you.

✶ Between 4-6 hours with an hour break in between. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available. Bring your own lunch.

✶ £130pp for full day and £90pp for half day.

One day or half day

Suitable for those who have some experience, are able to cut glass with confidence and want to build on their existing skills. These workshops also provide the opportunity to experiment with new techniques and apply your skills.

Beside our scheduled workshops, we can also host tailored 1:1s or group learning experiences. These bespoke sessions will be designed around your specific requirements and budget.

✶ We recommend 1 or 2-day bookings, with the length depending on the bespoke techniques that you'd like to learn. Cost will be determined by the nature of the materials and specialist teaching.

✶ For example, learning how to make a dropped vessel will take 3 days, including all firings: a day to design and fire a blank; a day to review your blank, prepare the moulds, fire your vessels, monitor the drop and make further blanks; a third day to remove the rim and finish your vessel.

We'll guide you through the process on a 1:1 basis. You can join on your own, as a couple, or with a friend/family member.

Expect to design and craft a stunning centrepiece that will bring you joy every time you look at it, knowing that you made it with your own hands.

✶ Cost is quoted on an individual basis and depends on the size of the panel that you’d like, the materials and the design. We recommend meeting Emma in advance (online or in person) to discuss your project and share your colour preference.

Craft your very own furniture handles in kiln-formed glass.

We’ll guide you every step of the way: choose the sizes you need, and we’ll help you match colour schemes by incorporating fabric or paint samples you can bring along. Not only will you have distinctive, handmade handles that transform your furniture, but also the satisfaction of knowing you made them yourself.
